| Rosie started out a throw away. She was originally purchased from a back yard breeder by someone looking for a protection dog. Due to the general misunderstanding of what that entails, she was left nameless and to her own devices in the back yard until I acquired her at 10 months. She had some bonding and trust issues and it took some time for her to grow into the dog she became. At the time of her premature death, Rosie had done much more than acquire a CGC and CD obedience title; she assisted in training other dogs young and old and worked as a service/theraphy dog and educator. She had a kind and gentle spirit and was a friend to everyone she met. We were working on her tracking training when she passed. She is and will be missed for a long time to come. Rosie was my first CGC awarded dog and is still my favorite. Her dedication to pleasing me had all to due with her successes in these endeavours. She was a dedicated and loyal companion and friend. |
