This is a more intense training program designed for owners and dogs that need and/or want more from their dogs in
the area of obedience and off leash work. Owner involvement is encouraged in this program but not required as some
dogs are coming from a great distance to train with us. This program is for the purpose of training; be it obedience or
specialty training. It is not for behavior modification or repairing bad behaviors. Dogs with aggressive, destructive
behaviors, lacking basic manners or proper house training will be required to have these issues resolved in order to be
accepted into the Boarding and Training program.
Upon completion: I will work with you and your dog together, written documentation regarding behaviors and
commands your dog has been taught while with us and how to follow through with training at home. Continued support
once your dog has gone home. A completed and passed CGC Test for registration by the owner.
Dogs entering the boarding and training program have the following requirements:
1) Have a current health certificate from their veterinarian and be current on all state required vaccinations, and be in
good over all health.
2) Be at least 10 months of age.
3) Have appropriated behavior training.
4) Family companion dogs entering the Board and Train program must be neutered.
Competitive females that are intended to be bred must be between heat cycles while here, breeding males must
be non-aggressive.
Note: A family companion dog is defined as a non-competition dog whose primary function is that of a companion. If it
has been your decision to not alter your family companion dog then one of our private or group class training programs
would be your best option.
Prior to being accepted into the boarding and training program an evaluation and meeting with owner and dog will be
done to assess whether this is the best option for you and your dog.
